ANNE BROCHET
President of the Jury of the Monte Carlo Film Festival 2024, Anne Brochet is an actress, author, and director. She received a César award for her performance in Alain Corneau's "Tous les matins du monde." Her first novel, "Si petite avant ta Face," was published in 2001 by Editions du Seuil. Her first documentary, "Pike like the fish," was produced by Arte in 2014. "L’Armoire de vie" (Albin Michel) is her latest story published in 2024. Brochet is currently filming her third documentary about the cabin and beach of her childhood. Family and transmission are the main sources of her inspirations.

RICKY MEMPHIS
Born in Rome, he made his film debut in 1991 with the film "Ultrà" by Ricky Tognazzi, for which he won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 4th edition of the European Film Awards. On the big screen, he later starred in auteur films such as "Pugni di rabbia" (1991), "La scorta" (1993), and "Il branco" (1994). In the same year, he joined the cast of "I mitici - Colpo gobbo a Milano." In 1995, he appeared in "Palermo Milano - Solo andata" and "Vite strozzate," alongside Luca Zingaretti and Vincent Lindon.
In 1996, Ricky Memphis was one of the protagonists of the film "Palermo Milano - Solo andata," directed by Claudio Fragasso. In 1999, he participated in "Ultimo - La sfida" and "Il morso del serpente." Ricky Memphis was among the leading actors in the TV series that started in 2000, "Distretto di Polizia."
In 2011, he starred in the comedy film "Immaturi," directed by Paolo Genovese. He was also the protagonist of "Ex - Amici come prima!" In July, he filmed the sequel to "Immaturi," titled "Immaturi - Il viaggio." He worked on "L'ultima ruota del carro," directed by Giovanni Veronesi. In 2013, he also acted in Claudio Amendola's film "La mossa del pinguino." In 2018, he participated in "Immaturi - La serie." Together with director Volfango De Biasi, he starred in the film "Un matrimonio mostruoso," released in 2023.

ANDREA FERREOL
Andréa Ferreol made her stage debut at the Avignon Festival, then worked with Jean-Michel
Ribes, Claude Régy, Robert Hossein, Lucien Pintillié and Stéphane Meldegg.
Her film career has been punctuated by powerful encounters with Ferreri (“La Grande Bouffe”),
Fassbinder (“Despair”), Greenaway (“Zoo”), Schlöndorff (“The Tin Drum”), Monicelli,
Richardson (“The Phantom of the Opera”), Truffaut (“The Last Metro”) and Scola (“La Nuit
de Varenne”).
She recently played “The Vagina Monologues”, “The True Story of Maria
Callas” at the Theatre Dejazet and “Ciboulette” at the Saint Etienne Opera, under the direction of
Michel Fau.
Andréa Ferreol is also currently filming under the direction of Olivier Baroux for
the cinema.

FEDERICA SABATINI
Born in 1992, Federica Sabatini is a young Italian actress of cinema,
theater and television. Born in Rome, she began her acting studies in
2010 with Gisella Burinato, and from 2013 to 2015 she studied at the Centro Sperimentale
di Cinematografia in Rome.
In 2016 she was in the cast of Francesco Pavolini's series "Tutti insieme all'improvviso"
and in "Un passo dal cielo 4" by Jan Maria Michelini.
We saw her as the protagonist of the film for Rai Uno "Nozze romane" by Olaf Kreinsen,
and in the fiction » Provaci ancora Prof ! – 7 ".
She is in the cast of the film "Saremo giovani e bellissime", directed by Letizia Lamartire,
presented at the International Critics' Week during the
75th Venice International Film Festival 2018, in theaters at the end
of September of the same year.
In 2019 we saw her on Rai1 in the film "Liberi di scelte", directed by
Giacomo Campiotti. In February of the same year Federica is among the new protagonists
of the second season of "Suburra- La Serie", in the role of Nadia.
In the summer of 2020 she is on Sky with the film "I Liviatani", directed by Riccardo Papa.
We found her again on Netflix in the role of Nadia, in the third and final season of
"Suburra - la serie 3".
In 2021 she enters the second season of the Spanish thriller "Toy Boy", a Netflix series
directed by Javier Quintas and Laura M. Campos.
In 2022 we see her in Tommaso Paradiso’s film “Sulle Nuvole” and later in
“Tutti a Bordo” by Luca Miniero.
In 2023 she returns to the Rome Film Fest in the role of Nadia in the last chapter of
SuburrÆterna presented as a special event.
Currently starring in prime time Raiuno as a new character in the cult series “Don Matteo” in the role
of Giulia Mezzanotte, stepsister of Don Massimo played by Raoul Bova

Clara Ponsot trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, where she graduated in 2012.
She began her career in cinema in 2008, in the film “La possibilité d’une île” by Michel Houellebecq. Later, we find her in “Des gens qui s’embrassent” by Danièle Thompsom, and in “Les infidèles” alongside Gilles Lellouche and Jean Dujardin. In 2013 she received an award for best performance at the Italian Film Festival of Bastia for her role in “Cosimo and Nicole”. In 2021 she is on the poster of “La bataille du rail”, alongside Pierre Lottin, and she acts alongside François Créton in “Les héroïques” by Maxime Roy, movie selected in competition for the Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2021. In the theater she plays Shakespeare with Mélanie Leray, and Marivaux with Laurent Laffargue, treading prestigious stages such as the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris or the Théâtre de la Criée. In 2018 she performed an onstage monologue which she adapted at the Théâtre du Lucernaire, directed by Marie Montegani. She also plays and directs at the La Pampa Festival, of which she was co-director. The same year she starred in the short film “Des gens bien”, nominated for César 2021, which she wrote together with Maxime Roy. We will soon find her alongside Penelope Cruz in “L’immensity”, by Emmanuele Crialese, in “Waiting for Dalì” by David Pujol, as well as in “Come pecore in mezzo ai lupi” by Lyda Patitucci.

PAUL HAGGIS, PRESIDENT
Born in Ontario, Canada, two-time Oscar winner Paul Haggis became the first screenwriter in Academy history to write back-to-back Best Picture Winners, with Million Dollar Baby (2004) and Crash (2005). In total, Paul has been nominated for 5 Academy Awards, for writing, directing and producing. He has received awards and praise for many of his screenplays, including Casino Royale and Letters From Iwo Jima. Before moving into film, Paul wrote, directed and produced many highly acclaimed television shows, such as “thirtysomething” (for which he won two Emmys) and “The Tracey Ullman Show.” He created the acclaimed, if short-lived, CBS series “EZ Streets,” which the New York Times cited as one of the most influential shows of all time, noting that without it “there would be no Sopranos.” Most recently Paul directed David Simon’s limited series Show Me A Hero for HBO, starring Oscar Isaac.
As the founder of Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), www.apjnow.org, Paul is committed to providing education, healthcare, and dignity to the poorest children of Haiti. Creating The Academy for Peace and Justice in 2010, over 3,500 children a year now receive a high school education that was never available to them before.
